Yoga with Johanna
I am practicing different Yoga styles for more than 15 years now, and looking back I am very happy to say that it changed my life in every aspect. Feeling the desire to share the beauty and power of Yoga with others for a while, I decided to enter a virtual ashram in India in 2021. After six months of intensive vedic-based training and guidance I received my 500h yoga teaching certificate. My teaching is based on a traditional Hatha approach and induced with knowledge and experience from my personal journey. Mixing static asanas, alignment and flow we maintain awareness on the breath and body in the present moment. With the motto that 'the body does not need to fit the asana, but the asana needs to fit the body', my classes are grounded on gentleness and compassion with our selves. All our bodies are different and our energy levels change constantly. So, although having my classes pre-planned I intuitively adapt them in the moment, dependent of what my students want and need that day and in that moment. I am very grateful to offer time and space to observe our true selves, to breath, to become present, to connect with our hearts and to guide my students on their way back home.

Hatha
Hatha Flow
Pranayama & Meditation
Combining poses (asanas) with focused breathing (pranayama) the aim of this class is to be gentle to ourselves and find stillness within our body and mind through more static postures. The breath will guide us inside and connect the movement to our body in the present moment.
Hatha Flow is a faster paced class using Hatha based asanas and breathing techniques. The focus lies on dynamic movements guided by our breath. The flow will create some heat and the breath keeps us connected to our body.
Through pranayama and meditation we further increase our awareness of the present moment and thus train our mind towards a more calm, peaceful and relaxed state. A relaxed and clear mind has a positive effect on our emotions, stress and general physical and non-physical health.
